Dietrich Construction is Hiring a Laborer Near Fargo, ND

SUMMARY
Responsible for various types of carpentry preparation to include operating hand tools, power tools, operating light equipment, and general clean up duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ability read a tape measure.
  • Operate machinery following safety guidelines.
  • Perform carpentry work as directed by Foreman/Supervisor.
  • Ability to use manual and power tools.
  • Safety and Housekeeping.
NONESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Other duties as assigned by the Foreman or Supervisor.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma/Equivalent and one year minimum Technical or College Training in Construction.
Language Skills
Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos at sixth grade level.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reads tape measure.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
